The team was contacted on a Saturday morning by the customer who had a fairly urgent request for a new gas boiler to replace their old, faulty one that had failed. We called her back and talked through the problem, giving her some advice and an estimate for the work, and arranged to visit the site Monday morning.
After conducting the survey, our Gas Safe engineer advised the customer on replacing her old boiler with a new one and the customer with more than happy with our advice and we arrange to carry out the work on the Friday.
After a discussion about her households needs and her budget, we installed a Worcester 8000 Life 30kw condensing boiler, complete with a vertical flue and a Salus wireless programmable room stat to make controlling the home’s heating and hot water a breeze. We also fitted a Worcester Greenstar system filter alongside the boiler which will help protect the system from debris and pollutants and therefore help improve its performance and extend its life.

The Result
This particular installation was more difficult than most as we completed the entire job during the covid-19 lock down and had to adhere to strict social distancing and hygiene measures. As the customer’s old system had failed, her need for a replacement boiler was urgent and couldn’t wait for restrictions to be lifted.
